MEN OF CHARACTER

Men of Character Mission Statement:

To raise the awareness and spiritual quality of each man who calls himself a Christian. To give men a way to identify true brothers as well as a forum to communicate with each other.

The Sharpening Of Iron is a process not for the soft at heart or in Spirit. At times it gets so hot there is a glow on the medal coming from the intense heat. Ensure your glow shines a light that states You are one of His.

BROTHERHOOD

Brotherhood is a strong bond between men. Crucial for growth for a man can not learn on his own. For true growth men should fellowship amongest each other to share ideas, trials, and successes. Proverbs 27:17. 

 

MENTORSHIP 

Youth need good mentoring. This site can be used to connect those youth with such mentors. There are plenty of Men Of Character that can contact this site to be connected with youth that reach out as well.  This site will be a community. 

 
 

The benefit of belonging to a true brotherhood



 

There is nothing more solid than a brotherhood. It shows in many different facets of life. When a military person sees another they immediately share a brotherhood. Firefighters when they come across another it is an instantaneous brotherhood. This happens because immediately they share something that bonds them together. They have their own language. They understand each other because of their shared background there is a code. A code of honor…a code of integrity.

I was on a cruise and met a brother wearing a Dallas Cowboys Sweatshirt. We became instant family. Three years later and we still text and keep in touch. I can walk into a store and see someone with a Dallas Cowboys hat or shirt or they could see me in mine and it becomes an instant family reunion. This made me think…Why isn’t it that way for the body of Christ?

As brothers in the body of Christ we should be able to identify each other and be just as pleased to see someone that understands what we stand for. We should have a tool to use that we can share our testimonies, our thoughts and our best practices. We should be able to have a place that we can communicate with out the distractions of the world being brought into it. Let's Take Men Of Character International.

 

THE VISION

THIS SITE WILL BE  A PLACE WHERE WE SHARE EXPERIENCES AS WELL AS STRATEGIES USED THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES LIVING AS MEN OF CHARACTER. TESTIMONIES WILL BE SHARED. LIFE EXPERIENCES WILL BE USED TO STRENGTHEN OTHER BROTHERS (IRON SHARPENS IRON). 

MEN WILL EMAIL ADVICE, QUOTES, STORIES AND QUESTIONS THAT WILL BE POSTED ON THE SITE FOR MEN OF CHARACTER TO COMMENT ON. 

THIS WILL SERVE ASA BOARD USED FOR PEOPLE TO CONTACT MENTORS AND SPEAKERS TO SPEAK TO YOUNG MEN.

Here are some true qualities of a Man Of Character

A Man of Character should be grounded in the Word of God. Understand the the true blueprint of a true man starts there. He should be a humble man.  A Man of Character is constantly working on self-improvement understanding that success is not a destination but a journey.  

A Man of Character knows how to take care of his own. You must first be a Man of Character in your own house before you can be one anywhere else. You can't expect to teach how to provide for your family and you do not provide for yours. You can't expect to teach one to take care of his wife and yours is lacking. Your responsibilities should be in order before one can expect to be a Man of Character. 

A Man of Character acts with Honor and Integrity. A Man of Character understands that the hard decision and the right decision is often the same decision. It is understood that  living this life-style will not always make you the most popular but this is a sacrifice a Man of Character is willing to make.
